Joined during the early days of Xero, working to demystify entrenched financial processes. Strong focus on fast iteration with full fidelity storyboarding (controversially but very successfully using Adobe Flash).
Grew to become the lead product designer with a superb team of 4 local and 7 remote product designers. Collaborating to maintain good comms, culture, style and standards, forming Xero’s first pattern library, and allowing each new app & feature to evolve.
Always hands on with project work, collaborating with product owners, analysts, devs, testing, customer care, docs, on concepts, hi-fi wireframes, storyboards, UI, and testing.
Great times exploring how to usefully auto categorise and visualise personal finances.
